Force Majeure

A young Swedish family is on a skiing vacation in the Alps. The sun is shining, the slopes are magnificent, the mountain idyll is perfect. But suddenly, during lunch on the restaurant terrace, disaster strikes: an avalanche rushes toward them with full force. Panic-stricken mother Ebba seizes the two children - panic-stricken father Tomas... flees. When the fog lifts, everyone is unharmed. The big disaster has not happened, but the shock about Tomas' actions remains. The children are on strike, the marriage is in crisis and Tomas has to struggle with his lack of courage and his damaged manhood.
