In the mid-'50s, young singer Elvis Presley caught the attention of fans and the media in the southern United States, mixing classic country sounds with black music and delivering a sensational stage show. With the help of the accomplished manager Colonel Parker, the new music becomes a trend and the local phenomenon becomes an international superstar.
