Laurence Anyways

Laurence (Melvil Poupaud) and his girlfriend Fred (Suzanne Clément) have been a couple for two years, love each other unconditionally and enjoy their life together. Until Laurence has to admit to himself that he feels trapped in the wrong body and would rather live as a woman. When he reveals himself to Fred, everything changes. Or maybe not? Because Laurence.feelings for Fred are still the same. Fred also continues to love Laurence, but doesn't know how to deal with it or whether her love is strong enough. All she knows is that she can't imagine her life without him. Together they fight against all odds, against the prejudices of others and against their own doubts. For themselves, for a love that is on the precipice, but so great that they can make it.
