It could all be so beautiful. Paul is a successful doctor, Martha happy in her job as a teacher. The young couple wants to emigrate to Marseille together. But one day after Paul has left, Martha receives the news that her husband has taken his own life. Martha cannot accept this fact. Little by little, she realises that the life she had believed in until then was built on lies. But Martha wants exactly this life back.
